As stated on the Home Page. I am a retired Texas Peace Officer. I served 48 years in full-time law enforcement:

Sergeant with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office
Patrolman and Training Officer with the Sugar Land Police Department
District Supervisor with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission
Sergeant/Investigator with Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office
Chief Investigator with the Fort Bend County Attorney’s Office

I ran for public office and may one day run again. I believe I am in a unique position to offer opinions and insights into the area of faith and culture, otherwise known as religion and politics.

I am an ordained Roman Catholic Deacon for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in Texas. I was ordained in 2013. I am assigned to Sacred Heart Parish in Richmond.
